為紀念倫敦首演 40 週年，當年於皇家阿爾伯特音樂廳舉行的 10 週年紀念音樂會錄音再次復刻！演出卡司包括 Colm Wilkinson, Philip Quast, Michael Ball, Lea Salonga, Ruthie Henshall, Alun Armstrong, Jenny Galloway, Michael Maguire, Judy Kuhn，由倫敦與百老匯的原始卡司擔綱演出。加上 250 名演員及由 David Charles 指揮的 70 人編制倫敦愛樂樂團，這場被稱為夢幻卡司音樂會的盛典，當時湧入 5,000 名觀眾！
這場令人難忘的現場音樂會，如今以黑膠2LP重生！這也是首次推出黑膠，並特別以黑膠規格重新製作母帶。音樂劇傳奇製作人Cameron Mackintosh曾多次聽到觀眾感嘆：「真是生不逢時！好想親臨阿爾伯特音樂廳那場《悲慘世界》！」如今，這場萬眾期待的經典演出，終於在 40 週年紀念復刻。
