日本以引為傲的女鋼琴手睽違8個月首次推出新專輯，整張專輯由Yoshi Waki (Bass),John Davis (drum)三人在紐約錄製，本張專輯致敬今年三月逝世的傳奇薩克斯風手Wayne Shorter，已山中千尋創作的新曲「Dolce Vita 」、「TO S.」作為開場，緊接著Shorter 的生涯作品「Yes or no」、「Beauty and the Beast 」、「footprint 」，時而加入管風琴增添色彩，山中千尋編曲及演奏細膩中卻有帶著大膽的風格是爵士愛好者必收的作品。
專輯最後兩首歌獻給同樣今年三月份逝世的教授「坂本龍一」。
